Omari Evans turns heads with official 4.28 at Washington pro day
Latest reports suggest, Omari Evans turns heads with official 4.28 at Washington pro day.
Washington held their annual pro day for NFL Draft hopefuls on March 16.
While results were not circulated at the event to the media, the results from Washington – and every other school in the country – are circulated on a standardized report sent to NFL personnel as the “official” testing results for every player in the draft.

Weight: 210
Hand Size: 9 5/8″
Arm Length: 32 3/8″

20 Yard Shuttle: 4.30
Vertical Jump: 37.5″

No 40 time for Boston, who said afterwards that his agent advised him not to run after skipping the event at the Combine as well. But the local product was a popular man nonetheless – he listed off a few teams included on his 30-visit request list of 12, including the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers.

RB Jonah Coleman
Height: 5’8 1/8″
Weight: 222
Hand Size: 9 1/8″
Arm Length: 29 3/8″

20 Yard Split: DNT
40 Yard Dash: DNT
Bench: DNT
3 Cone Drill: DNT
20 Yard Shuttle: DNT
Vertical Jump: DNT
Broad Jump: DNT
Coleman did not perform any tests and only went through positional drills after doing the same at the NFL Combine. The NFL’s report notes that Coleman told teams he felt as though he did not have enough time to prepare for testing after getting injured at the end of the season.
CB Tacario Davis
Height: 6’3 3/8″
Weight: 191
Hand Size: 9 1/8″

Arm Length: 33 7/8″

20 Yard Split: DNT
40 Yard Dash: DNT
Bench: 10
3 Cone Drill: DNT
20 Yard Shuttle: DNT
Vertical Jump: 36.5
Broad Jump: DNT
Davis, like Prysock, didn’t participate in much of the testing after completing it at the Combine. The highlight of his day was an acrobatic catch in defensive back drills that drew an uproar from his former teammates in attendance.
EDGE Zach Durfee
Height: 6′ 4 3/4″
Weight: 247
Hand Size: 9 3/4″
Arm Length: 31 1/2″
Wingspan: 76 3/8″
10 Yard Split: 1.64
20 Yard Split: 2.67
40 Yard Dash: 4.58
Bench: DNT

3 Cone Drill: 7.01
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.40
Vertical Jump: 39
Broad Jump: 10′ 3″
Durfee showed why he remains an NFL prospect despite struggling with injuries during his time at Washington. He told the media afterwards that he trained with the team’s strength and conditioning coaches and did not bench – despite being expected to perform well – because of personal preference.
S Makell Esteen
Height: 6’1 1/8″
Weight: 199
Hand Size: 9 3/8″
Arm Length: 31″
Wingspan: 77 3/8″
10 Yard Split: 1.73
20 Yard Split: 2.77
40 Yard Dash: 4.78
Bench: DNT
3 Cone Drill: 7.07
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.45

Vertical Jump: 28
Broad Jump: 9′ 4″
A multi-year starter for the Huskies, Esteen closed his Washington career with a solid day at Dempsey Indoor. While his straight-line speed may not jump off the page, his 7.07 3-cone drill is a decent number.
WR Omari Evans
Height: 6′ 0″
Weight: 190
Hand Size: 8 7/8″
Arm Length: 30 3/4″
Wingspan: 72 1/8″
10 Yard Split: 1.53
20 Yard Split: 2.52
40 Yard Dash: 4.28
Bench: 15
3 Cone Drill: 6.95
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.25
Vertical Jump: 41
Broad Jump: 10′ 7″
It wasn’t quite the 4.25 that quarterback Demond Williams Jr. posted on his Instagram story that Evans ran, but the senior receiver still made his name well-known at pro day. At least one NFL team approached him after the workout, letting him know they’d be in touch, and Evans’ testing will likely land him an undrafted free agent contract despite his lack of production in 2025.

K Grady Gross
Height: 5’ 10 1/2″
Weight: 213
Hand Size: 8 7/8″
Arm Length: 29 3/4″
Wingspan: 69 1/2″
10 Yard Split: DNT
20 Yard Split: DNT
40 Yard Dash: DNT
Bench: DNT
3 Cone Drill: DNT
20 Yard Shuttle: DNT
Vertical Jump: DNT
Broad Jump: DNT
Gross only participated in a kicking workout, which took place in between the jumps and the 40-yard dash. He was a bit inconsistent on field goals, but showed a big leg and hit his final two kicks from about 50 yards out.
QB Kai Horton
Height: 6′ 3 3/4″
Weight: 216
Hand Size: 9 3/4″
Arm Length: 32 1/4″
Wingspan: 74 5/8″
10 Yard Split: 1.72

20 Yard Split: 2.73
40 Yard Dash: 4.81
Bench: DNT
3 Cone Drill: 7.04
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.25
Vertical Jump: 32.5″
Broad Jump: 9′ 6″
Horton joined Durfee in training with the strength & conditioning staff. He also threw every pass to Boston, Evans, Coleman, tight end Quentin Moore, and visiting prospect and former Husky Sam Adams II. It’s customary for quarterbacks not to participate in the bench press since they are throwing afterwards.
EDGE Deshawn Lynch
Height: 6’1 5/8″
Weight: 291
Hand Size: 10”
Arm Length: 32 7/8″
Wingspan: 81 1/2″
10 Yard Split: 1.80
20 Yard Split: 2.82

40 Yard Dash: 4.94
Bench: 20
3 Cone Drill: 7.63
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.85
Vertical Jump: 30
Broad Jump: 8’ 10”
It’s a testament to Lynch’s timing this season that he batted down so many passes despite having shorter arms than four of his teammates in attendance. The NFL listed the Sacramento State transfer as a defensive end – they don’t differentiate EDGE from defensive end or outside linebacker – so he could very well reduce inside the way he did frequently at Washington.
TE Quentin Moore
Height: 6’ 4 1/4″
Weight: 244
Hand Size: 9 7/8″
Arm Length: 33 1/2″
Wingspan: 81 1/4″
10 Yard Split: 1.76

20 Yard Split: 2.81
40 Yard Dash: 4.63
Bench: 18
3 Cone Drill: 7.14
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.45
Vertical Jump: 31.5”
Broad Jump: 9’
Head coach Jedd Fisch has called Moore the best blocking tight end he’s ever been around in college football, high praise given Fisch’s experience in major conference football. 18 reps on the bench and a 4.63 40 are more than good enough for a blocking tight end. It may not be good enough to get Moore drafted, but he’s the type of player who sticks around even if he goes undrafted.
CB Ephesians Prysock
Height: 6’3 1/4″
Weight: 193
Hand Size: 9 7/8″
Arm Length: 33 1/2″

Wingspan: 79 7/8″
10 Yard Split: DNT
20 Yard Split: DNT
40 Yard Dash: DNT
Bench: DNT
3 Cone Drill: 6.82
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.15
Vertical Jump: DNT
Broad Jump: DNT
Prysock was selective after participating in testing at the NFL Combine, where he opened eyes with a 40 time in the 4.4s. At least one NFC team has a third-round grade on the cornerback, whose length and speed combination will get him drafted higher than some Huskies fans might expect.
DT Logan Sagapolu
Height: 6’ 1 3/4″
Weight: 327
Hand Size: 9 1/2″
Arm Length: 32 7/8″
Wingspan: 81”
10 Yard Split: 2.01
20 Yard Split: 3.32
40 Yard Dash: 5.87
Advertisement
Bench: 25
3 Cone Drill: 8.68
20 Yard Shuttle: 5.02
Vertical Jump: 24.5”
Broad Jump: 7’ 8”
Sagapolu was a starting-level force at nose tackle for the Huskies and tested as such at pro day – 327 pounds felt light for what Sagapolu looked like during the season. His massive size could be enough to get his foot in the door of an NFL training camp this summer.
DT Anterio Thompson
Height: 6’ 1 7/8″
Weight: 306
Hand Size: 10”
Arm Length: 33 1/2″
Wingspan: 80 5/8″
10 Yard Split: 1.74
20 Yard Split: 2.70
40 Yard Dash: 4.73
Bench: 30
3 Cone Drill: 7.80
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.38
Vertical Jump: 29.5”
Broad Jump: 9’ 5”

Pro day got off to a raucous start when Thompson got his teammates going with 30 reps on the bench press, but running 4.73 at 306 pounds may have been his most impressive feat of the day. The defensive tackle has plenty of talent and should be signed as an undrafted free agent.
DT Ta’ita’i Uiagalelei
Height: 6’3 3/4″
Weight: 268
Hand Size: 9 7/8″
Arm Length: 32 3/4″
Wingspan: 79 1/8″
10 Yard Split: 1.73
20 Yard Split: 2.87
40 Yard Dash: 4.97
Bench: 21
3 Cone Drill: 7.54
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.61
Vertical Jump: 30.5
Broad Jump: 8′ 11″
The NFL listed Uiagalelei, who played primarily on the inside at Washington after a more even split between inside and outside at Arizona, as a defensive tackle. He went through drills with that group as well, while Durfee did additional edge rusher drills.

LB Anthony Ward
Height: 6’ 0”
Weight: 217
Hand Size: 9 5/8″
Arm Length: 30 7/8″
Wingspan: 73 1/2″
10 Yard Split: 1.60
20 Yard Split: 2.66
40 Yard Dash: 4.61
Bench: 23
3 Cone Drill: 7.22
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.45
Vertical Jump: 37”
Broad Jump: 10’ 8”
Ward was mostly a special teams contributor for the Huskies and will look to find a similar role with an NFL team. His testing numbers and relation to Commanders linebacker Bobby Wagner – who was in attendance – should be enough to get him into an NFL building.
OT Carver Willis
Height: 6’ 4 7/8″
Weight: 307
Hand Size: 9 5/8″
Arm Length: 32 7/8″
Advertisement
Wingspan: 78”
10 Yard Split: DNT
20 Yard Split: DNT
40 Yard Dash: DNT
Bench: 23
3 Cone Drill: DNT
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.71
Vertical Jump: DNT
Broad Jump: DNT
It was a light day for Willis, who participated at the NFL Combine. He did take some snaps as a center at pro day, which he told the media was important to him after not showcasing that skillset in Indianapolis. Willis is primarily seen as an interior player in the NFL. He met with the New York Giants after pro day and took a visit to the Atlanta Falcons later in the week.
The NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 23, and runs through Saturday, April 25.
